New York metallic hardcore outfit Manipulate have premiered a new track from their upcoming EP, Becoming Madness, at Revolver. Titled “Slip Away”, the new track churns out blistering, thrashing riffs aimed at ripping listeners limb from limb. Vocalist Iván Murillo comments on the new tune:
“This song focuses on the relationships with friends and loved ones who take a wrong turn. It’s tough to watch when someone you care about turns their life over to self-destructive behaviors. You do all you can to provide help and support, but there comes a point when you have to draw a line in the sand and let them sink or swim. Tough love is the theme for this song.”
Check out the track here.
Becoming Madness will be released on February 12 via Flatspot Records.
