North Carolinian brutal death metal trio Atrocious Abnormality have premiered a new track from their upcoming album, Formed in Disgust, at Decibel. The new track is titled “Bound for Damnation” and it features everything you could want from a brutal death band; vile vocals, hammering percussion and an endless supply disemboweling guitar riffs. Dynamic duo Mamiffer (Aaron Turner and Faith Coloccia) have premiered a new track from their upcoming record, The World Unseen, at Tiny Mixtapes. Titled “Flower of the Field II”, the immersive and gorgeous composition begins with a piano-driven ballad that is propelled by Coloccia’s nearly angelic vocals. Eventually the track plummets into a realm of ethereal atmospheres, minimalist guitar drones and hovering, multi-tracked vocals. Check out the tune now.

Arizonian sludge unit North have released the title track from their upcoming album, Light the Way, which is due out on March 18 via Prosthetic Records. “Light the Way” is an eight-minute leviathan that opens with shimmering, later Isis adjacent post-metal melodicism, before diving headfirst into tumultuous sludge and eventually back again. Canadian sludge outfit Absorb recently released the official video for their track “Potent Sorcery”, which appears on the group’s 2015 self-titled debut. The nearly eight minute beast of a track is set to clips of the band performing and a bloody, Satanic ritual. Some images might be deemed NSFW by stiff employer types, so be cautious.
