Californian progressive/technical thrash outfit Hemotoxin have premiered their upcoming album, Biological Enslavement, over at Decibel. The album will officially be released on April 15 via Unspeakable Axe Records and can be pre-ordered here. Guitarist/vocalist Michael Chavez said the following of the record:
“Biological Enslavement is the first true collective effort between all four members of Hemotoxin. The albums themes are a social commentary inspired by the dark side of humanity that goes unseen. We recorded Biological Enslavement in a little over a month from Septemeber 1 – October 15 2015, produced by the band and Scott Fuller. The music is inspired by bands like Epidemic, Slayer, Death, Cynic, Sacrilege BC, Anvil Chorus and Pink Floyd.”

Philadelphia death thrashers Coffin Dust have premiered a new track from their upcoming album, Everything is Dead, at Decibel. Titled “The Living Coffin”, the bludgeoning new tune snaps necks and breaks backs with its grinding grooves and unrestrained drumming. Guitarist/vocalist Matt Slime (ex-Exhumed) said the following of the track:
“The Living Coffin” is one of our shorter, more to the point songs. We wanted to hit hard with heavy melody, and also keep it crushing! This is absolutely one of my favorites. The lyrics can really pertain to any soul sucking entity in one’s life, but take them as you will. I love for the lyrical content to be open to interpretation…

Everything is Dead will be released on May 6 via Unholy Anarchy Records.
