Brooklyn instrumentalists Sannhet have premiered their contribution to the 2016 Adult Swim Singles Program at Noisey. The new track, which will be featured on the group’s forthcoming album (which is currently being recorded), is titled “Short Life” and showcases what the trio does best. Decimating blast beats collide head-on with shoegaze-tinged atmospheres and black metal adjacent stampedes on this melancholic stormer of a tune. Check out the track Noisey or feel free to download the single at Adult Swim.
Spanish black metal outfit Sheidim have premiered their forthcoming album, Shrines of the Void, at CVLT Nation. The record will officially be out this Friday, June 24, via Dark Descent Records. Pre-orders for the album can be found here. The album crafts malevolent hymns that weave together classic black metal sonic aesthetic with elements of death metal and technical arrangements. It’s dark, suffocating and just plain brutal. Check it out now.
Progressive death metal outfit Destroying the Devoid, which features Craig Peters of Deeds of Flesh and formerly of Arkaik, is poised to released its debut full-length record. The new effort will be titled Paramnesia and will be released on August 19 via Unique Leader Records. The record was produced and engineered by Peters, whiles mastering and mixing duties were handled by Zack Ohren (Deeds of Flesh, etc). The seven-track revolves around how an individual’s personality and perception of the world are molded and ultimately dictated by their personal relationships and experiences. Through repeated interactions, once unique strangers gradually morph into fragmented pieces of one another, now completely interspersed. This is essentially paramnesia: the inability to distinguish between fact and fiction. Peters comments further:
“Society is constantly plagued by a world telling them what it is to be beautiful, successful. and what they essentially need to ‘be happy,’ while taking advantage of the weak for their own selfish benefit.”
The album’s artwork and track listing can be found after the break.

Again, NSFW. Check out the video after the break.
