Hello and good day to you black metal fans out there. I am bringing back “From The Void” on Svbterranean as a weekly column, sharing with you my favorite black metal albums I have found. Either on Bandcamp by accident or shared by a friend or maybe even a promo sent to me for review. These are my favorite releases found this past week. Click the link found on the bands name and album name to listen to the album!
Stripped down, raw, evil and filled with dark riff energies, Pillars of Crucifixion is straight up black metal with no gimmicks or atmosphere. Just screams, drums and guitars. You must check this one out. Some damn good riffs going on and those screams are legit terrifying.
Secretive, dark and atmosphericly terrifying, Endalok brings forth a different style of black metal that will scare the pants right off of you. Vocals are of a whisper/howl that flows with the music and honestly just sounds like a demon trying to communicate through music. It’s bonkers in theory but it’s satisfying and interesting. Check em out, demo is free on their Bandcamp!
What do you get when you mix up Summoning and add a more dungeon synth and folk flair to it? You get this phenomenal release. Moongates Guardian gives the perfect homage to Summoning. Need something to listen to while playing your favorite RPG? Use this.
Need something a little heavier before I end this article? Look no further, Void Meditation Cult gives us a raunchy tone, pure fucking evil vocals and tempos that will make you snap your neck as you headbang along to the songs. This is a damn good release, it’s closer to blackened death metal but fans of Archgoat will surely love what this band is doing. Hail Satan indeed.
Come back next week as I try to find even more great black metal from the void for you to enjoy.
