Salt Lake City doom band Subrosa have premiered an incredibly powerful new music video for their track “Troubled Cells” from their latest album, For This We Fought the Battle of Ages, over at NPR. Oklahoma City progressive death metallers Dischordia have premiered a new track from their upcoming album, Thanatopsis, at Heavy Blog is Heavy. Titled “The Ruin”, the track is a five-minute bombardment of churning, writhing and jagged death metal instrumentation that is both technically proficient and relentlessly aggressive. James Dorton of Black Crown Initiate provides guest vocals near the end of the track as well. Check it out after the break.

Crossover heroes Iron Reagan have announced the release of their third full-length record and follow-up to 2014’s The Tyranny of Will. The new record, which was recorded with Kurt Ballou, will be titled Crossover Ministry and will be released on February 3, 2017, via Relapse Records.
