Arkansas progressive doom quartet Pallbearer have announced the release of their third full-length album and follow-up to 2014’s Foundations of Burden. The new recorded, which was recorded to analog tape by the band and mixed by Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, et al), will be titled Heartless and will be released on March 24 via Profound Lore Records. The band said the following regarding the impending release:
French black metal outfit Au Champ Des Morts (ex-Anorexia Nervosa, et al) have premiered the title track to their forthcoming full-length debut, Dans La Joie, at No Clean Singing. The 10-minute title track surges with blistering, yet melodic black metal stylings infused with atmospheric splendor and post-rock’s penchant for fragile beauty. Check out the dreary tune after the break.
Dans La Joie will be released on January 27 via Debemur Morti Productions.
The debut EP from Leipzig-based Wayste scratches several itches at once. Heavy as hell hardcore set at a frantic pace with zero frills and a touch of melancholic melody. A stick count is all the warning you get before this German trio proceeds to obliterate your face.
