Florida death metal legends Obituary have announced the release of their 10th studio album and follow-up to 2014’s Inked in Blood. The new record will be simply self-titled and will see a release through Relapse Records on March 17. Vocalist John Tardy said the following regarding the new release:
Portland instrumentalists Grails have released a new track from their forthcoming album, Chalice Hymnal, which is due out on February 17 via Temporary Residence Ltd. Titled “Pelham”, the hypnotic three-minute tune is full of infectious groove and warm psychedelia that aims at altering the listener’s consciousness. Check out the track after the break.

NYC’s Black Anvil have premiered their forthcoming album, As Was, over at Noisey. The record will officially be released this Friday, January 13 via Relapse Records and can be purchased here. The band will be embarking on a North American tour in support of the record alongside Mayhem and Inquisition later in January. Those dates can be found after the break.
Iron Reagan‘s Crossover Ministry would crash a college kegger, drink all of the beer and refuse to pay for the damage it caused. Crossover Ministry would cause a riot in the middle of the street and spit in the face of law enforcement. It presents a furious and memorable hybrid of thrash and hardcore that captures both political rage and the spirit of adolescent rebellion. These Virginian maniacs have crafted yet another solid record to further secure their place at the top of the crossover food chain.
