Icelandic death metal act Beneath have announced the release of their third full-length record. The forthcoming effort, which follows 2014’s The Barren Throne, will be titled Ephemeris and will be released on August 18 via Unique Leader Records. The album was
recorded, mixed, and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, At The Gates, etc.) and will feature drumming from Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Malignancy, etc).

Detroit post-hardcore act Thoughts of Ionesco have premiered their upcoming EP, Skar Cymbals, via Invisible Oranges. The EP, which is the first new recording from the band since 2001, will be released on June 23 via Corpse Flower Records and can be purchased here. Check out the EP in full after the break.
Tech metal outfit NYN have debut the official video for their track “The Apory of Existence” via Toilet ov Hell. The track, which appears on the forthcoming Of Chaos and Salt LP, is set to a performance video of sorts, showcasing NYN mastermind Noyan Tokgözoğlu shredding in the woods. The new effort, which follows 2015’s Further Out, will be titled Time Well and will be released through Relapse Records on August 18. Bay Area hardcore/thrash outfit Wilderness Dream have premiered a new track from their upcoming EP, Paralysis Rise, via Metal Sucks. The track in question is titled “The Awakening” and is full of more throttling riffs and blistering solos than one can handle. Check out the track after the break.

Long-running metalcore outfit Zao have recently released the official video for their track “Broken Pact Blues”. The track, which comes from their 2016 album The Well-Intentioned Virus, is set to an emotionally-wrenching clip directed by Jason Armstrong of Skeleton Key Films.
