Georgian metallic hardcore act Vatican have announced the release of a new EP. The forthcoming five-track effort will be titled Ache of Eternity and will be released on August 25 with Sorrow Carrier Records. Ache Of Eternity was recorded by Kris Hilbert at Legitimate Business (Advent, Torch Runner, Red Death, Joy) in May of 2017, after which it was mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Integrity, Nails, Xibalba) and completed with artwork by Spencer Guerrero.

Japanese screamo/post-hardcore outfit Heaven in Her Arms recently debuted the official video for their track “Glare of the End”. The intricate and emotionally potent track, which comes from their new White Halo LP, is set to a collage of live performance clips directed by by Tamezawa Wataru. Check out the clip after the break.

Portland doom quartet Usnea have announced the release of their third full-length album and follow-up to 2014’s Random Cosmic Violence. The new record will be titled Portals Into Futility and will be released on September 8 via Relapse Records. Portals Into Futility was recorded with Fester and assistant Andrew Grosse at Caravan Recordings and Haywire Studios in Portland, OR and mastered by Adam Gonsalvez at Telegraph Audio.
