This quick review write up is about Spite, a black metal band from America who brings forth nasty Satanic sounds and VoidCeremony, a progressive/blackened death metal band that brings complexity and hectic sounds. Enjoy.
Spite’s sound on their debut album, Antimoshiach, is for the black metal fan who just cannot get past the early/mid 90’s black metal sound and if you absolutely need to worship Satan then Spite has the sound just for you. Honestly, I enjoy what Antimoshiach is as it has a charm to it. It has some catchy and well written moments, the production purposely sounds 30 years old but Spite makes it sound really good. Drums crash, guitars are loud, vocals are evil and overall they nail the older style of black metal on the head. Antimoshiach is a very good listen in spite of ambitious love for satanic imagery and evil, as well as simple guitar riffs at times. Definitely check this one out if you need some raw black metal in your life.

VoidCeremony’s third EP “Foul Origins of Humanity“, bring forth progressive death metal with blackened ideologies. Harsh atmospheres rule here and the song writing is fast and fierce. If you enjoy a tasty blend of Artificial Brain and Morbid Angel, then you’ll adore what VoidCeremony puts together on this EP. This EP is so good that you will definitely be replaying it once the 3 songs have come to a close. Hellish drumming and guitar work swarm, giving an evil platform for vocals and guitar solos alike. A must listen.
