Blackened hardcore outfit Centuries released their sophomore full-length, The Lights of This Earth Are Blinding, late last month. The record is a dark epic that sidesteps genre conventions by incorporating atmospheric, sludge and melodic elements into the mix, while staying true to the band’s signature hellacious hardcore. It’s abrasive, dynamic, and sets the band off in exciting new directions.
One track in particular stands out and that is the devastating and anguished “May Love Be With You Always”. The track seethes with unbridled anger, which is channeled through throttling metallic hardcore instrumentation. Today we at Svbterranean bring the official music video for said track in all its gloomy glory. The tune is set to various black-and-white clips of the band documenting their travels. The images presented fit rather nicely with the song’s, and album as a whole, dismal atmosphere. Check it out for yourself below.
