San Francisco post/progressive metal trio Grayceon (Giant Squid, et al) have premiered a new track from their upcoming fourth full-length album, IV, via Revolver. The new track is titled “Scorpion” and features the band’s signature assault of venomous guitar riffs and ethereal cello melodies. Vocalist/cellist Jackie Perez Gratz told Revolver the following about the track:
Death metal veterans Skinless have announced the release of their sixth full-length album. The upcoming effort, which follows 2015’s Only the Ruthless Remain, will be titled Savagery and will be released on May 11 via Relapse Records. The record was recorded by Tom Case at Doomsday Bunker Studio in New York and by Dave Otero (Primitive Man, Cattle Decapitation, Cephalic Carnage) at Flatline Audio in Colorado. The album will feature 10 new tracks and roughly 37 minutes of the band’s signature death metal blend. The album’s artwork and track listing can be found after the break, as well as a stream of the title track (via Metal Sucks).
