This edition of quick reviews is some raunchy, dirty and damn good death metal from Faceless Burial based out of Australia and some nasty thrash from The Crown, based out of Sweden.
Faceless Burial has the nastiest sound and this debut album is a damn good headbanging album. Massive grooves, disgusting vocals and bass filled passages with crashing drums fills every single track on Grotesque Miscreation. Six Feet Under wish they were this good and this is their first full length! Grotesque Miscreation originally was independently released in September 2017 but Blood Harvest picked them up and I definitely understand why. Their style of death metal is horrifyingly good. The atmosphere they create is evil and the music pushes that agenda well. Crank this one up, throw up your horns and bang your head. This is a must listen.

The Crown is not what you would expect it to be if you’ve never heard of them. Press play on their new album, Cobra Venom Speed, and you will undoubtedly be headbanging and grooving along with the music! Whirlwinds of melodic thrash with a touch of death added really brings out a wicked sound with this band. Unrelentlessly pushing forward with fast riffs, The Crown really gives us a great no holds barred, unfiltered metal experience. Production is top of the line, song writing is entertaining and the vocal performance along with the instrumental execution makes for an overall great album!
