Finnish avant-garde metallers Oksennus have announced the release of their third full-length album. The upcoming release will be titled Kolme Toista and will be released on April 15 (CD) and May 13 (Vinyl) via Nuclear War Now! Productions. The record consists of a single 39-minute composition broken up into three 13-minute movements, the first of which can be streamed after the break. The band’s cacophonous, technical and abstract interpretation of death metal will pique the interest of fans of Portal, Chaos Echoes, Pyrrhon, and the like. The upcoming effort, which was recorded with Kurt Ballou and mastered by Brad Boatright, will be titled Beacon of Faith and will be released on May 25 via Southern Lord.
