Mixed, Not Stirred is a weekly column in which artists curate special, themed playlists via Spotify or other mediums.
In this week’s Mixed, Not Stirred, Saint Karloff curated a 10-track playlist highlighting artists and songs that have had an impact on their musical direction. The band offered the following comments regarding the playlist:
“Growing up in the 90’s, in Norway, meant that you had to be lucky and find some good music in the old vinyl stacks in your, or a friend’s basement. We were that lucky, and what we found shaped our musical future forever. The ten songs we’ve picked are all a tribute to direct and indirect influences. To us, making good heavy music is not all about the amount of fuzz and drop-tuning ou are able to force out of a speaker. A good groove will be more important than a crazy fuzz sound, at least to us. So here is a list of songs that should make you tap at least one of your feet.”
