It’s been a fun week for new black metal releases or just even catching up on some of the ones I may have missed. This week’s From The Void even features something a little different than your typical black metal as well as some heavy hitting high end releases. But let’s not drag this on any further shall we? Kentucky black metallers Anagnorisis have premiered their forthcoming album, Peripeteia, at Noisey. The album will see release on LP and CD through Berlin-based Vendetta Records, on cassette through Yehonala Tapes (Europe) and Like Young Records (US). The CD, cassette, and digital versions will be issued this Friday, October 21st; the vinyl sees release November 15th. Anagnorisis have premiered the title track to their upcoming album, Peripeteia, at Invisible Oranges. Louisville black metallers Anagnorisis have announced a string of fall U.S. tour dates in support of their forthcoming album, Peripeteia, which is due out on October 21. The trek will commence on November 3 in Louisville and will conclude on November 18 in Detroit. Cryptic Hymn will be providing direct support on all stops. The new track is titled “5306 Morningside” and it effortlessly blends haunting melody with scathing, blackened instrumentation that is determined to rip the souls from listeners.
