Walking Bombs – the solo/collaborative project of New York musician Morgan Ywain Evans – is poised to release its sophomore album, Brave Hours, on April 14.
Following the outfit’s 2016 Peace Quest EP, Brave Hours was put together in 2016 with major involvement from engineer and multi-instrumentalist Jay Anderson (Surmiser), and was mastered by grunge legend Tad Doyle. The record, which features a wealth of collaborators including Spirit Adrift‘s Nate Garrett and VOWWS, delivers an eclectic blend of grunge, alternative, industrial, post-punk and more.
Today, we at Svbterranean bring you the first taste of the upcoming effort in the form of its opening track, “Dry Heaves”. The track is full of electronic, post-punk splendor, ethereal atmospheres and extremely catchy pop sensibilities. The track also features guest saxophone from Shining frontman Jørgen Munkeby. Evans says of the track:
