The day after Thanksgiving, the holiday we show thanks by being gluttonous swine and eating every single shred of meat and gravy, suckling at the bone and cartilage hoping to obtain maximum satisfaction, we are blessed with another massive serving of bone, gore and blood. This time the host is Cattle Decapitation and the meal is a 23 course engorging on unfamiliar and/or unheard Cattle Decapitation tracks that have been lost or were released elsewhere in the world. This album is a historical trip, as you will hear Cattle evolve through the years with their style of gore, grind and death. This is Medium Rarities, enjoy the meal. Continue Reading
The Riot Room was the first time I ever saw Suffocation live with Frank and it was the last time I will ever see Suffocation with Frank on the microphone and it was just as exciting as I would have hoped. Something else was in the air that night though, Frank was thankful for everything and everyone, he was super chill and saying jokes between songs. It was up close and personal and when the music started it was all 100% business as usual. If Suffocation is coming to your town during this tour, you absolutely must see this. Continue Reading

Cattle Decapitation have premiered the gruesome, NSFW video for their track “Clandestine Ways (Krokodil Rot)” at Bloody Disgusting. Taken from the group’s 2015 album The Anthropocene Extinction, the track is set to wonderfully violent video (directed by Mitch Massie) full of gore, torture and human experimentation. Vocalist Travis Ryan comments:
“Mitch Massie once again hurls us into a nightmarish world of the eye-for-an-eye table turning that Cattle Decapitation lyrics exude, but this time in a much more surreal manner. Here we see the circus has come to town and with it a grisly ‘freaks’ exhibit featuring the barbaric aftermath of what the protagonists (the ‘Ringmaster’ and a freed ‘specimen’) have done to the leading researchers at Cosmeugenics Laboratories – a place where Cosmetics testing is performed on earthen creatures all in the name of Human vanity – but this time by completely incorrectly administering the clandestine, flesh-eating drug ‘krokodil’. I’ll leave out the horrific details as you’ll have to see that for yourself!”
Check out the video after the break.
Scour – the new black metal “supergroup” uniting Phil Anselmo and former and current members of Pig Destroyer, Animosity and Cattle Decapitation – have premiered a new track from their debut self-titled release at Decibel. Titled “Dispatched”, the new track unleashes a furious two-minute assault of death-dealing tremolo-picked madness. Anselmo commented on the track:
“Doing the Scour project was a blast. The track, ‘Dispatched’ was the first one I attacked, as it was the first one sent to me. Lyrically, I leave it to the listener to evaluate, as usual. The way I saw it, the songs were short, and extremely straight-forward, so I didn’t want to clutter ‘em up with too much. Therefore, I had to pick particular lyrics that seemed provocatively absurd enough, and to perform them as raw as deemed fit. Hope all true extreme music lovers enjoy the stuff as much as I did performing it. A huge cheers to all the awesome collaborators on this project… Much love to all.”

Scour will be released on July 15 via Housecore Records.
