Utah’s Rile (Cult Leader, et al) have premiered their forthcoming EP, Ethereal Existence, over at Exclaim. The EP will officially be released this Friday, December 2 via the band themselves. The three-track EP weaves together sludge’s monolithic presence and tone, post-hardcore blood-pumping drive and mathcore’s angularity into one destructive mixture. Fans of early Cave In and the like will want to check it out. Stream it in full after the break.
Salt Lake City’s Rile (Cult Leader, et al) have premiered a new track from their forthcoming EP, Ethereal Existence, over at Metal Sucks. Titled “Major Arcana”, the monolithic new tune, which is also a part of Converse’s Rubber Tracks series, weaves together angular post-hardcore nuances with bitter, grumbling sludge and post-metal sensibilities. Fans of Intronaut and Cave In, take note. Check out the track after the break along with the band’s 2013 Destructive Patterns EP.
Ethereal Existence will be released on November 23.
In addition to their upcoming European trek with Abigail Williams and Cult Leader, Finnish grinders Rotten Sound have announced a string of North American and Mexican tour dates.
