Back in July, Sheffield-based sludge outfit Kurokuma released a two-track EP titled Dope Rider. Based on the comic strip of the same name, Kurokuma weave tales of the eponymous character with huge, bludgeoning riffs. Doom metal documentary The Doom Doc is now available for purchase on DVD and digital download. The independent documentary offers a fly-on-the-wall look at the UK’s doom, sludge and stoner metal scenes and features interviews and performances from prominent UK bands such as Conan and Slabdragger, alongside other luminaries such as Black Sabbath‘s Bill Ward and Crowbar‘s Kirk Windstein.
