Dead Cross – the new outfit featuring former and current members of Slayer, The Locust, Retox and more – have premiered a new track from their upcoming album at Rolling Stone. Titled “We’ll Sleep When They’re Dead”, the new track unleashes incendiary thrashing hardcore that amalgamates all of the strengths of the bands Dead Cross‘ members have been apart of. California noise punks Head Wound City (The Locust, The Blood Brothers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) have announced the release of their first full-length album, and follow-up to their 2005 self-titled EP. The new record, which was recorded with Ross Robinson, will be titled A New Wave of Violence and will be released on May 14 via Vice Records. The record’s artwork and track listing can be found after the break, and the album can be pre-ordered here.
The band also shared the new track “Scraper” via Pitchfork recently. That tune can be streamed after the break.
