Detroit post-hardcore act Thoughts of Ionesco have premiered their upcoming EP, Skar Cymbals, via Invisible Oranges. The EP, which is the first new recording from the band since 2001, will be released on June 23 via Corpse Flower Records and can be purchased here. Check out the EP in full after the break.
Long-defunct Detroit post-hardcore outfit Thoughts of Ionesco have announced the release of their first new studio recording in nearly 16 years. The new release, which follows 2001’s For Detroit, From Addiction LP, will be a four-track EP titled Skar Cymbals and will be released on June 23 via Corpse Flower Records. The EP was captured and mixed by Jeremy Mendicino with Dave DeCristo at Signal Kitchen in Burlington, Vermont in March 2017 with additional tracking by Gabe Doman at Pharmhouse Studio in Dearborn, Michigan.
