Italian psychedelic doomsayers Ufomammut have premiered a new track from their impending eighth studio album, 8, via Cvlt Nation. The new track is titled “Zodiac” and it features over nine minutes of sprawling, crushing doom and hypnotic soundscapes. The band offered the following comments regarding the track:
Italian doom outfit Ufomammut have announced the release of their eighth studio album. The forthcoming follow-up to 2015’s Ecate, which was recorded at Crono Sound Factory in Vimodrone, Milano, Italy with producer Ciccio and mixed by Fabrizio San Pietro, will simply be titled 8 and will be released on September 22 via Neurot Recordings.
Pre-order information, artwork and track listing are set to be unveiled in the coming months. In the meantime, the band have released an in-studio video which can be viewed after the break along with the band’s upcoming tour dates.

Italian doom trio Ufomammut are currently in the studio recording their eight full-length studio album, and follow-up to 2015’s Ecate. The band are recording the currently untitled effort at Crono Sound Factory in Vimodrone with Ciccio and his associates of Femore Production. Psychedelic dirt rock outfit Sonic Wolves – which unites current and past members of Ufomammut, Pentagram, Hounds of Hasselvander and Rogue State – are poised to release their debut full-length later next month. The new album will be titled Before the End Comes and will be released on Taxi Driver Records, with the official street date still pending. Before The End Comes was tracked at the end of 2015 at Ampire Studio in Pistoia with Stefano Tocci serving as studio sound engineer and includes artwork by Michele Carnielli (Seals Of Blackening).
